This TDCC website does not have an on-site submission form, advertising trackers or public comments. We do not ask for children’s personal information here.

The hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. Selecting “Larger text” stores that preference in your browser; it does not submit your name or contact information to TDCC.

Donations, signups and external links

Donation and newsletter links open Zeffy. Volunteer and program links open the existing Giving Station or Gabe on the Go websites. These services have their own privacy notices and submission processes. Sharing a story, volunteering and subscribing to emails are separate choices.

The Share Your That Day Story link opens the existing Giving Station form. Story submissions stay private with TDCC. An adult must submit their own story or act as a child’s parent or legal guardian. There is no public story gallery or request for publication permission in the initial story form. TDCC would contact a contributor separately before considering public use of their story.

Emailing us shares the information you choose to send. Please avoid including sensitive personal details or children’s identifying information in an initial inquiry.

Reading and using this website

The site includes a skip link, keyboard-operable navigation and questions, image descriptions, a larger-text setting, and support for reduced-motion preferences. No audio plays automatically.

The Listen button uses your browser’s speech feature when available. Availability and voice quality depend on your device, browser and speech service. You can stop reading at any time or use your device’s screen reader instead.
